Role : DevSecOps Lead Location : Bangalore- WFO Exp : 10-15+ Years Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Excellent Communication Skills and Work Stability Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced DevSecOps Lead to drive secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure and deployment processes across our enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS, container orchestration, CI / CD pipeline engineering, and infrastructure automation, with a strong focus on embedding security into every phase of the SDLC. This role is responsible for guiding enterprise-wide DevSecOps strategy, ensuring compliance, and enabling large-scale, mission-critical Systems. Key Responsibilities Enterprise DevSecOps Leadership - Define and lead the enterprise-wide DevSecOps strategy, frameworks, and governance.
- Drive adoption of secure-by-design principles across development and operations teams.
- Establish DevSecOps best practices, standards, and automated guardrails.
- Partner with Security, Cloud, and Platform Engineering teams to maintain compliance with enterprise security and audit requirements. Cloud & Infrastructure Management (AWS)- Architect and manage large-scale, secure, multi-account AWS environments.
- Oversee enterprise governance through AWS Organizations, SCPs, IAM federation, and centralized logging.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, resiliency, and cost efficiency.
- Lead design and maintenance of networking, VPC architecture, encryption, and access Controls. Containerization & Kubernetes (EKS)- Design scalable and secure Kubernetes-based platforms (Amazon EKS) for enterprise workloads.
- Implement Kubernetes governance, policies (OPA / Gatekeeper), and cluster-level security controls.
- Manage large EKS footprints including networking, service mesh, and autoscaling strategies.
- Drive operational efficiency through observability, logging, and workload standardization. CI / CD Engineering - Design and manage enterprise CI / CD pipelines that support multiple teams and applications.
- Implement controlled release mechanisms—blue / green, canary, and progressive delivery.
- Integrate security scanning, compliance checks, and change governance automation.
- Improve software delivery efficiency, reliability, and audit readiness. Infrastructure as Code & Automation - Standardize infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Build reusable IaC modules and enforce GitOps-based workflows.
- Automate operational processes such as patching, backups, failover testing, and compliance checks. Enterprise Scripting & Automation - Build automation using Shell scripting and Python for platform operations.
- Develop proactive monitoring and auto-remediation workflows.
- Integrate automation into enterprise observability and event-driven systems. Responsibilities : People & Program Leadership - Lead and mentor DevOps / DevSecOps engineers across multiple product teams.
- Coordinate with program management, architecture, and security leaders.
- Oversee incident response, RCA processes, and long-term system improvements.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise governance, security frameworks, and operational SLAs. Required Skills & Experience - 10-15+ years of experience in DevOps / DevSecOps roles, with at least 3 years in an enterprise leadership capacity.
- Advanced expertise with AWS services, networking, IAM, and security.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
- Proven experience managing enterprise CI / CD pipelines and large-scale automation.
- Mastery of Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting abilities in Shell (Bash) and Python.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, SIEM, and compliance frameworks. Preferred Qualifications - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional.
- CKA, CKAD, or CKS Kubernetes certifications.
- Experience with enterprise security standards : SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST.
- Experience in large-scale migration, modernization, or cloud transformation programs. Soft Skills - Strong leadership and communication skills.
