Job Description :

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our Finance & Taxation team. The role will primarily focus on assisting with income tax and TDS compliance, supporting international tax matters, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth tax operations for the Company and its group entities.

Key Areas of Responsibilities :

Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns for the Company and its group entities.

Support TDS compliance, including deduction, deposit, filing of TDS returns, and issuance of TDS certificates (including Section 195 payments).

Maintain and update the direct tax compliance calendar.

Assist in the collation of data for tax audits, assessments, and litigation support.

Coordinate with internal teams to gather data required for tax filings.

Support international tax matters such as withholding tax implications, TRC applications, and basic treaty benefits.

Assist in the preparation of advance tax computations, deferred tax workings, and reconciliations.

Maintain documentation for tax positions, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities.

Liaise with external tax consultants as required.

Qualifications & Skills :

Educational Qualification :

Qualified Chartered Accountant.

2–4 years of experience in

direct tax compliance and reporting

(corporate exposure preferred).

Strong knowledge of

Income Tax Act, TDS provisions, and basic international taxation concepts .

Proficiency in MS Excel and tax compliance tools / software.

Good analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and coordination skills for effective stakeholder management.
