SAP S / 4HANA ABAP Consultant

Job Title : SAP ABAP Consultant / Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Experience Required : 4 – 8 Years

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong technical background in ABAP development , S / 4HANA implementation , and modern ABAP concepts such as CDS Views , OData Services , and AMDPs . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP custom solutions, integrations, and enhancements to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design & Development
• Develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (RICEF objects).
• Implement Core Data Services (CDS) Views , OData services , and Fiori-related back-end development .
• Work on Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) , Enhancement Framework (BADI / BAPI / User Exits) , and Workflow .
• Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, ALE, RFC, and Web Services .
• S / 4HANA & Modern ABAP
• Utilize HANA-specific programming techniques (e.G., AMDPs, CDS Annotations, and performance optimization).
• Build Fiori-compatible services using OData and CDS-based consumption views .
• Support S / 4HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects.
• Implementation & Support
• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects — from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with functional teams (MM, SD, FI, PP, HR, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing , and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Documentation & Collaboration
• Prepare technical design documents (TDDs) and unit test scripts .
• Work closely with functional consultants , Basis , and security teams for smooth deployment and integration.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior developers.
