About the Role

Join our dynamic engineering team in Bangalore as an Instrumentation Design Engineer . We're looking for professionals with strong offshore project experience and hands-on expertise in instrumentation design tools and deliverables. You’ll be part of a global team working on high-impact offshore and onshore projects.

️ Responsibilities

Develop and review instrumentation deliverables : IO List, Instrument Index, P&IDs, Hook-up drawings, JB schedules, Cable Schedules, and Cable Tray layouts

Prepare and validate SP3D and E3D instrumentation models, including instrument location plans and cable routing

Interpret project specifications and client requirements

Coordinate with process, electrical, mechanical, and civil teams

Review vendor documents and ensure design compliance

Support site surveys, FAT / SAT, and commissioning activities

Mentor junior engineers (for senior roles) and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables

Qualifications & Skills

B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related discipline

5–9 years (Junior) or 10–14 years (Senior) of instrumentation design experience

Proficiency in :

IO List, P&ID, Hook-up drawings, JB schedules

SP3D / E3D modeling tools

Cable tray routing and layout design

Offshore oil & gas project experience preferred

Familiarity with IEC, ISA, API standards

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience

Offshore platform design (FPSO, fixed platforms, etc.)

Hazardous area classification and Ex-rated instrumentation

Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI / INtools)
