Project Head – Edible Oil Refinery Commissioning

About The Role : We are

hiring an experienced

Project Head

to lead the

Testing & Commissioning (T&C)

and

Integrated Performance Testing (IPT)

phases of a large-scale

Edible Oil Refinery Project

in Qatar.

This is a

senior contract-based position

responsible for overall project leadership, coordination, and delivery of commissioning outcomes. The Project Head will oversee technical, documentation, and QA / QC functions to ensure smooth commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibility : Lead the complete

commissioning and handover execution

for the edible oil refinery project.

Act as the

single point of accountability

for client / PMC interface and project coordination.

Approve commissioning schedules, test plans, and documentation procedures.

Supervise functional teams, including Technical, QA / QC, and Documentation departments.

Monitor progress, review reports, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

Identify risks and implement corrective measures to ensure operational readiness.

Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality, and performance standards.

Oversee training, plant handover, and certification activities post-IPT.

Requirements : Education :

B.Tech / M.tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

Experience : Minimum 20 + years

in

edible oil refinery projects , with at least

5 years in project or commissioning management roles.

Proven track record in EPC / PMC project execution and commissioning leadership.

Strong understanding of refinery operations, utilities, and process integration.

Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Prior Qatar / GCC project experience

preferred.

Contract details : Duration :

12–18 months (extendable)
