The Head of Creative Education at École Intuit Lab is a creative leader who brings real-world design expertise into the heart of our learning environment. We are looking for someone who has built a career in the design or creative industries and can champion design with clarity, conviction, and strong public-speaking skills. This role combines strategic thinking, industry insight, and the ability to mentor and inspire a team of designers and educators.

Key Responsibilities :

Academic Vision & Creative Direction

  • Shape and drive a forward-looking academic vision rooted in contemporary design practice.
  • Guide the evolution of programs to stay relevant to industry shifts, new technologies, and creative culture.
  • Ensure our curriculum reflects the realities of professional design work and the diversity of creative careers.
  • Identify opportunities for new programs that respond to emerging fields and student aspirations.

Faculty Recruitment & Mentorship

  • Recruit industry-experienced designers, creatives, and practitioners with strong teaching potential.
  • Build pathways for faculty to grow as educators through structured support and mentorship.
  • Provide clear feedback, creative guidance, and leadership to strengthen the school’s teaching culture.
  • Encourage open dialogue within teams and integrate student perspectives into academic decisions.
  • Teaching & Learning Excellence

  • Champion innovative teaching approaches that mirror professional design workflows.
  • Encourage project-based learning, portfolio-driven outcomes, and hands-on studio culture.
  • Support faculty in developing engaging sessions rooted in creativity, critical thinking, and experimentation.
  • Academic Framework & Quality

  • Collaborate with leadership to refine academic policies that enable creativity while ensuring quality.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of academic processes and consistent communication across teams.
  • Maintain alignment with institutional guidelines while supporting flexibility in creative pedagogy.
  • Faculty & Student Engagement

  • Serve as a mentor and creative guide for faculty members.
  • Work closely with student-facing teams to ensure learners receive academic support and direction.
  • Provide guidance to students on creative development, portfolio building, and navigating the industry.
  • Industry Collaboration & Advocacy

  • Represent the school confidently at events, panels, conferences, and industry forums.
  • Build strong partnerships with studios, agencies, and creative organisations for talks, workshops, and collaborations.
  • Facilitate opportunities for guest lectures, joint projects, and knowledge exchange.
  • Resource & Budget Oversight

  • Work with senior leadership to allocate resources that strengthen studio learning and creative facilities.
  • Ensure budgets support high-quality teaching, materials, labs, and industry engagement.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • A strong professional background in design or the creative industries (e.g., branding, advertising, digital product, motion design, game art, visual communication, etc.).
  • 8–10 years of experience in creative leadership, studio management, team leadership, or design-driven education.
  • Excellent communication and public-speaking abilities; comfortable representing the institution externally.
  • Experience mentoring creatives, directing teams, or shaping creative workflows.
  • Understanding of curriculum building or a willingness to learn academic structures with support from the leadership team.
