Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Senior Urban Designer. The role involves developing and implementing urban design plans, preparing planning reports, designing master plans, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and engineers. Responsibilities include analyzing urban spaces, preparing conceptual designs, and providing creative solutions to meet client and community needs, while adhering to industry and local standards.

Pre requisite

1. Master's in Urban Design from Leading University

2. Experience in working on design and execution of institutional / sports / township Masterplans

3. Passionate about excellence in Design

4. Ability to lead a team

Job Description

1. Ability to prepare Project Strategies and Concepts.

2. Strong understanding of ToD, LAP, TP Scheme, street design, place-making, urban forms, and building typologies

3. Experience in coordination with infrastructure design teams to prepare comprehensive masterplans

4. Experience in Working drawings, details, and Municipal drawings

5. Knowledge of local and national building regulations, codes and other standards as necessary for compliance

6. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Arc GIS, and other 3D software.

7. Excellent graphic skills, written and oral communication skills with an aptitude for research.
