About the Role
Our client, a leading global risk intelligence and advisory firm, is seeking to hire a Payroll & Compliance Executive with at least 2 years of experience in labour compliances , payroll processing , and data management . The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and documentation skills, with a preference for candidates familiar with HRMS packages and compliance reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely adherence to statutory and labour compliances (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, etc.) for all employees
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salary computation, deductions, and statutory filings
- Maintain up-to-date compliance registers and documentation as per legal and organizational requirements
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual compliance reports to internal stakeholders and authorities
- Support audits and coordinate with consultants or regulatory bodies for labour-related inspections
- Manage employee data processing, maintaining confidentiality and data accuracy
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure synchronization between payroll, compliance, and HRMS systems
- Stay updated on labour laws and compliance amendments to ensure proactive implementation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in Commerce, HR, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in compliance or payroll operationsStrong understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance frameworksGood proficiency in Excel and data processing toolsExposure to HRMS / Payroll software (e.G., SAP, GreytHR, Zoho People, or equivalent) preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Attributes
Experience working in a corporate or consulting environment handling multiple entities or client accountsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesBased in or willing to relocate to Mumbai
