Engineer – Supplier Technical Support

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
5-8 years of experience in supplier / part development

Required Skills

Knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, sheet metal, moulding, casting (

High pressure die casting, Investment casting, - preferred)

Sound knowledge of Geometrical dimensioning (ISO GPS) & tolerances (Personal involved in

to new product development of mechanical parts)

Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal & written communication skills in English

Preffered Knowledge / Exp

SAP PLM knowledge

Global Exposure

Key Responsibilities

Local technical clarifications with suppliers, SCM (Supply Chain Management)

Local contact for operations and supplier for technical support.

Local process review (technology audit) at the suppliers.

On-site first sample qualification.

On-site support of the Global Production Support for serialised parts (RDBU) and Product

Maintenance for transfer project (RDBM) teams.
