Synopsis of the role
Delivers and manages production operations for all applications that are part of the designated business domain. Responsible for ensuring their current functioning in production at all times.
Accountability
The key accountability of this function is to own, deliver, and manage all applications that are part of the designated business domain through a combination of development, testing, implementation, and production tech operations.
Application Delivery
- Manage the end-to-end delivery cycles for all applications including managing product backlogs, understanding business use cases, sprint planning, velocity tracking, scrum planning, show-and-tell, and development.
- Accountable for the end-to-end architecture of the proposed solutions from a functional and technical perspective, as well as from an InfoSec, Compliance, and Regulatory perspective.
- Responsible for the overall governance, risk and controls implementation across the technology landscape.
- Carry out design reviews, code reviews, test plan and test execution reviews to ensure that the solution design, development, testing, implementation, and production tech operations processes are as per ECIS standards.
Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC)
GovernanceCreate the Business Case for the programs covering the architecture, financials, business benefits of the different programs. Ensure follow-throughs on their approval processes.Ensure program governance routines, cadences and escalation processes are carried out as per planned calendars with vendors.RiskIdentify, track, and mitigate all program risks through RAID logs.ControlsIdentify and implement checkpoints and milestones to be tracked for development projects as well as BAU.Budgets and Financials
Tech BudgetMaintain program budgets with line item level details of the spends across all of tech, including business applications and their underlying infra and platforms, end user applications and their underlying infra, as well as resource headcounts.Ensure spends are within budget.FinancialWork closely with finance to provide accurate and timely cost and spend projections so as to ensure that finance is able to accurately account for the financials into the P&L.Resource Management
Ensure that resource hiring and development plans are put in place for all resources, and are executed with no exceptions.All mandatory certifications are to be completed by all the resources.Ensure that each third party vendor resource has a defined exit date and the exit procedures are carried out in accordance with the defined exit date.What You'll Do
