Role Overview

The Mathematics Lecturer (Fresher) will support academic delivery by teaching foundational mathematics, assisting student learning, and contributing to a positive and professional academic environment. The role requires strong communication skills, confidence in presentation, and the ability to work effectively with both national and international students.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver clear, accurate, and engaging mathematics lectures and tutorials.

Support the learning needs of

international and diverse student groups .

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments as guided.

Conduct doubt-solving sessions and provide academic mentorship to students.

Maintain professional classroom discipline and a student-centric approach.

Use computer-based tools for presentations, assessments, and online learning platforms.

Participate in curriculum discussions and academic meetings when required.

Track student progress and share feedback with supervisors.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics or a related field.

Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience may apply.

Strong academic foundation in core mathematical concepts.

Essential Skills

Excellent English communication skills —spoken and written.

Strong presentation and public-speaking abilities.

Ability to teach and interact confidently with

international students .

Computer proficiency

(MS Office, Google Workspace, PPT, email, basic online teaching tools).

Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.

Professional demeanor, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward learning.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Knowledge of modern teaching technologies and digital platforms.

Familiarity with IB / IGCSE / AMC or international curricula.

Basic content creation or worksheet development skills.
