To enhance our team in Mumbai / India, we are looking for a

Lighting Designer / Sales Assistant – Solar Outdoor Lighting (m / f / d)

to join our Indian innovation centre as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for the technical lighting design and photometric planning of our solar-powered outdoor street lighting projects and additionally supporting our international sales team on other sales-related tasks. Your work will directly influence product performance and customer satisfaction.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

Coordinate with international clients and partners to clarify lighting design requirements.

Develop customer-specific lighting designs and photometric simulations for solar-powered outdoor street lighting projects using DIALux.

Prepare site layout drawings with light pole locations using AutoCAD.

Support our international sales teams with technical lighting inputs for tenders, presentations, and project documentation.

Assist the sales teams in creating commercial and technical offers, issuing order confirmations, invoices, transport documentation, etc...

Process orders, manage customer database, and maintain accurate records of sales activities.

Maintain organized lighting documentation and ensure traceability of designs and test data.

Prepare sales presentations, and other sales-related documents as required by the sales managers.

YOUR QUALIFICATION & SKILLS :

Degree in Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.

2-3 years of professional experience in outdoor lighting design.

Proficiency with lighting design software such as DIALux and DIALux EVO.

Proficiency with AutoCAD, Excel and PowerPoint.

Understanding of international outdoor lighting standards (e.g., EN, IESNA).

Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Highly detail-oriented, with a structured and independent working style.

Enthusiastic about sustainable, technology-driven solutions.

The annual salary is in the range of ₹6 to 7 LPA depending on professional experience and qualification.
