Job Summary :
We are looking for a Firmware Engineer with expertise in embedded systems ,real-time programming, and UAV firmware development. The candidate will work on the design, development, and optimization of drone firmware, ensuring seamless hardware–software integration and reliable UAV performance.
Key Responsibilities
Firmware Development & Integration
- Develop, optimize, and maintain firmware for UAV flight controllers, sensors, and communication modules.
- Work withPX4, Ardu Pilot, or custom flight stacks for drone applications.
- Implement and test communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, MAV Link).
- Ensure real-time performance and reliability in embedded systems.
- Experience with real time operating systems.
Testing & Validation
Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop(SIL)testing.Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.Conduct drone test flights to validate system performance.Collaboration & System Integration
Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and software teams to ensure smooth system integration.Support PCB / electronics teams in firmware bring-up and testing.Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.1+ years of experience in embedded firmware development for drones or robotics.Strong programming skills in C / C++ (real-time system)C / C++; Python knowledge is a plus.Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ChibiOS, NuttX) or similar real-time environments.Hands-on experience with flight controllers (PX4, ArduPilot, STM32-based system system)..Familiarity with sensors (IMU, GPS, Barometer, Magnetometer) and communication protocols.Knowledge of Git and version control for firmware release management.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with autonomous drones, computer vision, or AI-based navigation.Knowledge of aerodynamics and propulsion systems.Bachelor degree in Electronics or Allied FieldIndustry
