About the Role

We are looking for a result-driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to lead B2C growth initiatives at NxtWave. Youll be responsible for driving user acquisition, conversion, and revenue through innovative consumer-facing strategies. This role demands a deep understanding of consumer behavior, strong sales instincts, and the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end B2C sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify and execute initiatives to acquire and convert users through direct outreach, events, referrals, and consumer-focused campaigns.
  • Build a strong understanding of NxtWaves product offerings to pitch effectively to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Inside Sales teams to optimize lead generation and conversion funnels.
  • Develop and implement plans for telesales / inside sales performance, productivity, and script effectiveness.
  • Monitor performance metrics (revenue, conversion rates, call-to-sale ratios, etc.) and take data-backed actions to improve results.
  • Deliver customer insights and market feedback to refine offerings and GTM strategies.
  • Train and mentor junior sales executives or counselors, where 812 years of experience in B2C sales, business development, or growth roles.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding consumer revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of the B2C sales funnel, including outreach, lead qualification, and conversion.
  • Experience in consumer-facing roles, preferably in edtech, fintech, or similar high-volume sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and pitching skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with an ability to thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a Experience in B2C or direct sales with a strong focus on revenue delivery.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Experience working with CRM and sales pipeline tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to take initiative based on data insights.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams like Marketing, Product, and Prior experience in the edtech space or with high-ticket B2C offerings.
  • Exposure to telesales / inside sales-led acquisition models.
  • Comfort with fast experimentation and ability to adapt strategies quickly.
  • Understanding of regional or vernacular market dynamics.
