Following is the JD : Job Summary : Sr. BDM will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of revenue growth initiatives in the education sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and working cross- functionally to drive expansion across schools, colleges, training centers, or institutional clients For the organization.
Key Responsibilities : Market Expansion
Identify and acquire new clients within the education ecosystem of the organization. (schools, universities, coaching institutes, EdTech platforms). Strategic Partnerships
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders— school management, education boards, government bodies, and corporate partners. Revenue Generation
Develop proposals, pitch solutions, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets of the organization. Team Leadership
Mentor and manage a team of BDEs / Managers to ensure optimal performance and pipeline management. Product Collaboration
Work closely with product and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs. Market Research
Track education trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy. Reporting & Forecasting
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
Key Skills & Competencies : Strong 7-10 Yrs of Exp. In Sales and negotiation skills Deep understanding of the education sector and its decision-making processes Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities Data-driven mind set with proficiency in CRM tools Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused approach Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Education (MBA preferred) Proven track record of achieving business targets in the education space
