This is a high-impact, growth-focused role for a commercially driven leader to own the international Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channel strategy within our global marketplace ecosystem.
You will be responsible for the international D2C P&L, driving sales and customer engagement through brand-led websites and proprietary storefronts.
You will operate at the intersection of category management, digital marketing, and cross-border commerce, with a mission to scale Indian products directly to global consumers while strengthening the company's marketplace positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & P&L Ownership
- Own and manage the international D2C channel P&L within the global marketplace ecosystem.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive direct-to-consumer sales growth (brand websites, Shopify, custom storefronts) in key international markets.
- Collaborate with brand partners to curate and scale export-ready assortments aligned with global consumer demand.
Digital Marketing & Customer Growth
Lead international digital marketing initiatives (performance marketing, SEO / SEM, social commerce, influencer, affiliate networks) to drive customer acquisition and retention.Optimize customer journeys across D2C storefronts— UX, localization, checkout, pricing, and promotions —to maximize conversions.Use analytics to track key metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversions, margins, returns) and take corrective actions.Cross-Border Operations & Strategy
Collaborate with logistics, payments, and compliance teams to ensure seamless cross-border fulfillment .Stay ahead of global e-commerce and D2C trends, leveraging insights to sharpen category and channel strategies.Required Experience & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in building and scaling international D2C businesses (brand websites / proprietary platforms, not only marketplaces like Amazon / Walmart).Proven track record in driving direct global sales growth via digital-first customer acquisition and retention strategies.Strong expertise in digital marketing and funnel optimization for international markets.Experience managing P&L and profitability across cross-border e-commerce.Exposure to logistics, compliance, and payments in cross-border trade.Hands-on experience with platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom-built storefronts .Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or E-commerce ( MBA preferred ).What You'll Gain
