Job description

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Engineering Planning & Design :

Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and ensure that cloud-based applications and services are deployed consistently and reliably.
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure for applications and services using cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and security assessments to ensure the robustness and resilience of cloud infrastructure

2. Engineering Development :

Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

Monitor cloud-based services to ensure optimal performance, availability, scalability, and security. Implement corrective measures as needed.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployment processes in a timely and effective manner.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.

3. Team Development :

Maintain knowledge of emerging cloud technologies and trends and incorporate them into the organization's cloud strategy to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness.

Act as a subject matter expert for cloud computing, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Defining career paths for team members and helping them grow with regular coaching and mentoring.

Requirements :

The ideal candidate would be from a CS, IT, or equivalent experience with 4-6 years of working experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Strong experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines.

Strong understanding of networking, security, and data management concepts in cloud environments.
