Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Executive to join our team. You will manage financial records, oversee invoice processing, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, prepare detailed MIS and reports, support audits, and supervise inventory reconciliation.

The ideal candidate is analytical, ERP / Excel proficient , and can guide junior accountants while collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Record Maintenance

  • Review and validate daily financial transactions for 100% accuracy.
  • Ensure internal financial systems are updated promptly with zero backlog .
  • Oversee the work of junior accountants to maintain high-quality records.

2. Invoice Processing & Documentation

  • Perform Level 2 invoice verification for customer and vendor invoices.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and vouchers.
  • Ensure timely processing of all invoices in line with TAT compliance.
  • 3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

  • Monitor payables and receivables weekly to ensure 100% compliance with payment schedules .
  • Communicate with vendors and customers to ensure timely collections and payments (DSO within target).
  • Supervise reconciliations and prepare compiled checksheets and reports.
  • 4. Financial Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare monthly revenue vs. expenses reports by the 3rd of each month .
  • Generate detailed MIS reports (P&L, cash flow, platform-wise analysis) by the 10th with less than 1% variance errors.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for corrective actions.
  • 5. Compliance (GST, TDS, Legal)

  • Ensure accurate and timely GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT filings .
  • Maintain adherence to all statutory and legal regulations ( zero compliance penalties ).
  • Review compliance work done by junior accountants to prevent errors.
  • 6. Audit Readiness & Support

  • Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audits .
  • Provide necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Ensure all audit requirements are met on time with no major observations.
  • 7. Financial Analysis & Issue Resolution

  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions within 7 days .
  • 8. ERP & Software Utilization

  • Use ERP systems efficiently for accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros, reporting).
  • 9. Inventory Management & Reconciliation

  • Ensure timely reconciliation of physical stock (raw materials, packaging, finished goods) with accounting and ERP records.
  • Capture wastage, damages, and expiries to maintain accurate inventory reporting.
  • KPI : 100% timely inventory reconciliation with zero discrepancies
  • 10. Teamwork & Communication

  • Guide and collaborate with internal accounting teams.
  • Provide timely updates and actionable financial insights to management.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 100% accuracy in financial records and reporting
  • Less than 1–2% invoice processing errors
  • Compliance with payment schedules and DSO targets
  • Timely submission of MIS and financial reports (deadlines : 3rd & 10th)
  • Zero compliance penalties or major audit observations
  • ERP and Excel proficiency demonstrated in daily tasks
  • Clear, timely, and actionable communication with stakeholders
  • 100% inventory reconciliation with zero discrepancies
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( CA Inter / Semi-qualified preferred )
  • 4–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or compliance roles
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and accounting standards
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving , and communication skills
