Quality Test Engineer III

About the Role

This is a position in Quality Assurance responsible for developing and executing performance and automation tests. This position plans and executes effective and efficient performance and automation testing to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high-quality software products and / or data

Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Planning : Contribute to test planning, estimation, and execution strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Test Coverage & Visualization : Generate and maintain test reports, dashboards, and visualizations of test coverage and execution results in (JIRA, EazyBI)

Root Cause Analysis : Collaborate closely with developers to analyse root causes of test failures and suggest corrective actions.

Agile / SCRUM Practices : Active participant in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and working knowledge of agile methodologies.

Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate QA insights and collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement : Proactively contribute to improving test processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance software quality and delivery speed.

Requirements :

3+ years of QA Test Engineering experience

BS Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience required

Manual & Automated Testing : Strong experience in creating, maintaining, and executing manual and automated test cases for both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (Java, PostgreSQL) components.

Defect Management : Proficient in using issue tracking tools like JIRA to log, track, and manage defects.

Test Automation Frameworks : Proficient in using well-known test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

CI / CD Integration : Experience embedding automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar) to ensure continuous quality validation.

API Testing : Familiarity with REST API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Karate.

Database Validation : Experience writing and executing SQL queries to validate data in PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS platforms.
