SAP Application Lead

Responsible for end-to-end SAP application management and SAP project delivery for the textile plant, ensuring seamless integration of business processes across production, inventory, quality, and supply chain. Acts as the key liaison between business users and IT, driving SAP process improvements, system enhancements, project execution, and user support for plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP module implementation, rollouts, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance for plant operations (MM, PP, SD, QM, FI/CO as applicable).
• Manage SAP projects end-to-end, including scope definition, timelines, coordination with internal teams and vendors, risk management, and go-live support.
• Collaborate with production, inventory, and logistics teams to optimize SAP workflows for efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
• Analyze business requirements and coordinate with SAP developers and external partners for system customizations and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot system issues, provide SAP support, and ensure minimal downtime for plant operations.
• Conduct user training, UAT coordination, and knowledge transfer during implementations and enhancements.
• Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and adherence to corporate IT and project governance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging SAP for automation, standardization, and process optimization.

Skills & Tools

• SAP PP, MM, QM, PM; working knowledge of SD
• SAP FI/CO exposure for costing, variance analysis, and reporting
• SAP Project Management (implementations, rollouts, enhancements, vendor coordination)
• SAP Support & Troubleshooting, Change & Release Management
• User Training, Stakeholder Management, and Strong Process Orientation
• Analytical thinking with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions
