SAP HANA / Basis Systems Specialist

Seeking an experienced SAP HANA and Basis professional with a strong background in database administration, optimization, and replication.

• SAP HANA database management and support for single-tenant and multi-tenant environments.
• Management of SAP HANA sidecar environments for reporting and analytics purposes.
• Configuration and maintenance of SAP HANA system replication (HSR) in synchronous and asynchronous modes.
• Database tuning and optimization focusing on memory, CPU, SQL statements, partitioning, and indexing strategies.
• Definition and management of SAP HANA parameters including global allocation, CPU / memory, and statement limits.
• Implementation of user security and access restrictions using roles, object privileges, analytic privileges, and quotas.
• Support for ABAP memory management to ensure system efficiency.
• Administration and troubleshooting of other databases such as DB2 and Sybase when required.
• Integration and extension of SAP systems with the SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Support for SAP HANA on AWS cloud, encompassing sizing, monitoring, and backup / restore strategies.
• Collaboration with business and technical teams to guarantee high availability, performance, and security.
