Job description2+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and debugging software systems Strong scripting skills in Unix & Python Experience using Matillion (preferred) Good understanding of data warehouse concepts – OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data Modeling Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) Exposure to AWS / Azure data ecosystems Experience in cross-team collaboration and requirement gathering Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Effective communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER .
Qualifications :
Snowflake Expertise :
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (recent project must be on Snowflake)
- Proficiency in Snowflake SQL, developing complex queries, stored procedures, and ETL scripts
- Experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Snowpark, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, and Data Sharing
- DBT (Data Build Tool) :
- 2+ years of relevant experience building, testing, and deploying transformations in DBT
