Position : - Purchase Engineer
Experience : - 5 to 7 years
Education Qualification : - BE / B.Tech- Civil / Mech.
Job Responsibilities :
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors / suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and project-related materials (Steel, Cement, Paints, Water Treatment Chemicals, Pipes & Fittings, Valves, Flow Meters, Hardware & Factory consumables)
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements and company policies.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate with project, design, and site teams to understand technical requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services to avoid project delays.
- Maintain vendor database, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Follow up with suppliers for order acknowledgment, dispatch details, and logistics tracking.
- Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and maintain proper documentation.
- Support procurement planning, budgeting, and inventory control for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and safety standards.
