Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality production outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing PPAP documentation, developing Control Plans, performing PFMEA, and improving process capability, along with basic knowledge of AutoCAD for layout and design tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain process documentation including PPAP, Control Plan, PFMEA, Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities in quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, production, and maintenance) to optimize production processes.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for process-related non-conformities.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create or revise plant layouts, tooling designs, and fixture drawings.
  • Monitor key process parameters and ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and equipment validation activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs and Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 2–5 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive or precision manufacturing.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with APQP tools including PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and MSA.
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD drafting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
