The Role
As Head of Content, you’ll be the creative and strategic engine behind NST’s media arm. You’ll build and scale a You Tube-first network that combines storytelling, student documentaries, podcasts, and intelligent entertainment.
You’ll shape the editorial voice, design the content strategy, and lead a multidisciplinary team to create content that informs, moves, and inspires India’s most brilliant students.
What You’ll Do :
- Build and lead the You Tube content universe for Newton School of Technology — from flagship docu-series and explainers to conversational podcasts and short-form storytelling.
 - Launch youth-driven IPs across genres : student stories, achiever podcasts, campus docs, logic explainers, and de-stress entertainment.
 - Hire, coach, and lead a team of writers, producers, directors, editors, and creators.
 - Oversee end-to-end production — concept to final cut — across multiple cities and teams.
 - Amplify NST’s brand persona — smart, honest, authentic, and deeply Gen-Z.
 - Work closely with leadership to drive channel growth, analytics, and brand strategy.
 
What You’ve Done :
7 - 10 years of experience in digital content, documentary and / or You Tube content creation.Proven success in scaling one or more You Tube or podcast IPs to significant organic traction (500 K+ subs / 50 M+ views).Experience running multi-format creative teams (10–20 people) across editorial, production, and post.Deep understanding of Indian youth culture, especially the 15–19-year-old academic and tech-savvy audience.A background in documentary storytelling, You Tube-native IPs, or podcast programming is ideal.You Might Have Worked At :

A storyteller with an analytical mind — can go from a thumbnail brainstorm to a post- production meeting to a quick writing session.Emotionally intelligent, editorially sharp, and endlessly curious about what students feel, think, and watch.A natural mentor — you can build teams, push creativity, and protect quality.Equally fluent in social media analytics and aesthetics.Driven by impact — you want your content to move millions and shape a generation.What Success Looks Like
