Primary Job Title : Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - MBBS
About The Opportunity
We are hiring an MBBS Duty Doctor to provide front-line clinical care at an on-site facility serving Padavegi and surrounding villages in Denduluru Mandal, Andhra Pradesh. This is a hands-on clinical role for a doctor who can manage triage, emergency stabilization, routine inpatient / outpatient care, and coordinate referrals while maintaining high standards of clinical governance and patient safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide timely assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for walk-in and admitted patients across medical and emergency presentations during assigned shifts.
- Stabilize and manage medical emergencies (airway, breathing, circulation) including initial resuscitation and life support; arrange referrals when needed.
- Perform minor procedures such as IV cannulation, wound suturing, basic splintage, and medication administration per clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and handovers—document patient history, investigations, treatment plans, and discharge instructions in the facility record / EMR.
- Coordinate referrals with higher centres and liaise with paramedical staff, pharmacists, and local public-health stakeholders for continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, drug storage, and clinical governance protocols; participate in audits and quality-improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
MBBS degree from a recognized institutionRegistered with the Medical Council / State Medical Council (valid registration to practice in India)Active license to practice medicine in IndiaExperience in clinical settings (emergency / ward / outpatient) with exposure to acute care and triageBasic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or willingness to obtain immediatelyWillingness to work on-site in Padavegi, Denduluru Mandal (shift-based roster including night duties)Preferred
Previous experience as an RMO or duty doctor in a primary hospital or community health centreFamiliarity with local public-health initiatives and rural healthcare deliveryWorking knowledge of Telugu (local language) to communicate effectively with patients and familiesBenefits & Culture Highlights
