Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the construction activities related to switchyard and control room projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that construction work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities : Supervise and coordinate civil construction works at the site, including foundation works, structures, and associated civil activities for switchyard and control room.

Ensure adherence to project schedules, technical specifications, and safety regulations.

Manage and monitor daily site activities, including labor, subcontractors, and equipment.

Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work; identify and resolve issues proactively.

Ensure proper implementation of safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.

Maintain site records, reports, and documentation, including progress reports, inspection logs, and daily reports.

Verify materials and workmanship conform to project standards and specifications.

Assist in planning and coordinating logistics and resource allocation.

Enforce environmental and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in civil construction, specifically in switchyard, substation, or power plant projects.

Proven experience supervising civil works for high-voltage switchyard and control room construction.

Strong knowledge of civil construction procedures, safety standards, and quality control.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
