Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - QA for BI Reporting

Job Summary :

Objectives of the role :

  • To take the consultant role within the application delivery team for QA and dashboard Testing.
  • Be a team player working closely with the functional team, reporting team, data integration team members etc.
  • Diagnose and provide solutions to any product Quality issues.
  • Testing on Migration of dashboards from Tableau to Power BI Desktop.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for BI applications and data warehouses
  • Verify data accuracy and validate report outputs against source data
  • Conduct performance testing and identify system bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with BI developers and data engineers to resolve defects
  • Maintain and update test documentation and test scripts
  • Identify, document, and track issues in a timely manner
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate test results to stakeholders

    Minimum Qualifications

  • SQL
  • ETL testing
  • Data warehousing
  • BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView)
  • Data validation
  • Performance testing
  • Defect tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
  • Test automation tooll
  • BE / B Tech / MCA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Core Development experience working with development teams
  • Certification in Automation Testing
