Job description

We're Hiring : Database Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Database Engineer to join our team and take ownership of database deployments, architecture, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PostgreSQL and MS SQL , with the ability to design scalable solutions, ensure database reliability, and lead a team of 10–15 engineers.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain PostgreSQL, MS SQL and other Databases environments.

Develop and implement database architecture strategies.

Optimize database performance, availability, and security.

Lead and mentor a team of 10–15 engineers, fostering collaboration and skill development.

Collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration.

Troubleshoot complex issues and provide long-term solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing PostgreSQL, MS SQL and other Databases in production.

Strong knowledge of database deployment, replication, backup, and recovery.

Hands-on experience with performance tuning and high availability setups.

Prior experience leading and managing teams.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
