Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate should have a minimum 1-2 years of related experience and expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining a robust web-based platform for investments and wealth management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial systems, excellent programming skills, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences in the fintech domain.

Key Responsibilities :

Web Platform

Design, develop, and maintain a secure and scalable investment platform.

Implement core features such as mutual fund research, portfolio management, portfolio & transaction tracking, risk analysis, goal setting, financial planning tools and account integration.

API Integration

Integrate APIs for real-time financial data to provide users with accurate and up-to-date market insights, KYC (Know Your Customer) verification, payment gateways, and financial reporting systems.

Ensure seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems.

User Experience / UI / UX

Create an intuitive and visually appealing interface.

Continuously enhance platform usability based on user feedback.

Design Tools : Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for prototyping.

Finance-Specific UX : Focus on data visualization (charts, graphs). Intuitive navigation for features like portfolio tracking and market research.

Data Analytics and Visualization :

Data Analytics Libraries : Pandas, NumPy (Python) for backend analytics.

Visualization Libraries : D3.js, Chart.js, or Highcharts for interactive charts and graphs.

Security and Compliance

Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive user and financial data.

Ensure the app complies with industry regulations and standards, such as SEBI, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.

Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles and data encryption.

Knowledge of compliance frameworks for financial applications.

Testing and Optimization

Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues.

Optimize app performance for speed and scalability to handle large volumes of users and transactions.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to maintain high availability and reliability.

Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality product.

Stay updated on the latest trends in fintech and app development. Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in fintech and app development.

Financial Domain Knowledge

Understanding of mutual funds, ETFs, financial markets, stocks, bonds, and investment platforms. Knowledge of financial ratios, market analysis, and portfolio management.

Familiarity with payment gateways, stock market APIs, and portfolio management tools.

Integration of features for tax reporting and adherence to local financial laws.

Preferred Qualifications :

1-2 years prior experience developing fintech or investment-related applications.

Certifications in financial technologies.

Experience with AI / ML for financial insights and recommendations.

Knowledge of UX / UI design principles for fintech applications.

Understanding of quantitative finance concepts and algorithms.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with real-time data processing and financial algorithms.
