Lead Software Engineer / Dot Net Full Stack Developer

Job descriptionStrong experience with TFS and Visual Studio products. Have extensive coding, testing and documentation experience. Experience in creating complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development. Experience in analyzing existing SQL queries for performance improvements. Knowledge of financial & investment products including Superannuation, Unit Trust and Pension products is desirable. Experience working in a geographically distributed team environment. Instils Trust – contribute to building a safe learning environment in the business where the team can be listened to and understood. Collaborate – Must be able to work in a co-operative manner with both internal and external teams and take all views and interests into account when formulating outcomes. Ensure Accountability – Must take full ownership of their assigned responsibilities and the outcomes that are generated and pursued. Customer Focus – Must understand customer and partner needs from both a functional and operational perspective. Communicate Effectively – Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both in written and verbal forms, across all levels of an organisation and all sizes of groups. Must also be able to listen to others and evidence that they have understood the needs communicated appropriately.
Job Description
Skills and Competencies :
- Commercial .NET development experience in a complex application environment with multiple parallel development streams.
- MS SQL Server experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of .NET frameworks, preferably as a full-stack developer.
- Ability to debug complex production code and provide effective workarounds for urgent fixes.
- A pragmatic approach to software development, balancing speed and quality.
- Expertise in designated areas of technical specialization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
