Senior Accountant

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our

team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining

accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory

requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both finance and

accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

 Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and supporting

documents.

 Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

 Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and

cash flow reports.

 Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

 Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.

 Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal

policies.

 Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

 Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial data for audits.

 Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and ensure data integrity.

 Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for financial coordination and issue

resolution.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's or MBA is a plus).

 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.

 Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting

standards.

 Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
