Position Permanent

Role – SDET

Experience – 6+ Years

Location – Chennai / Bangalore

Work Mode – WFO

Shift Timing – Afternoon (2pm – 10pm)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and / or mobile applications.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable test code in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Implement tests for functional, integration, regression, and smoke scenarios.
  • Integrate tests into CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers to write testable code and ensure adequate unit and integration test coverage.
  • Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input from a quality perspective.
  • Investigate, debug, and triage issues, and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Ensure test environments and data are well managed and available.
  • Stay current with industry trends and tools in test automation and quality engineering.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 6+ Years of Experience
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language : Java & JavaScript (preferred), or C#, Python.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of testing REST APIs and UI components.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with source control (Git), test management tools (TestRail, Xray), and issue tracking systems (JIRA).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to performance testing (e.g., JMeter, k6).
  • Experience in working with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
