Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VMware Practice Lead to oversee our VMware solutions portfolio, lead a team of virtualization engineers, and drive technical strategy and delivery excellence. This role involves both strategic leadership and hands-on expertise in VMware technologies. You will act as a subject matter expert, mentor, and liaison between technical teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful design, implementation, and management of VMware-based infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the VMware practice area, including solution development, delivery, team mentoring, and vendor management.
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level VMware infrastructure solutions (vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, Horizon, etc.).
- Work with sales and pre-sales teams to design technical solutions and respond to RFPs / RFIs.
- Drive the technical roadmap and vision for VMware technologies within the organization or client environment.
- Collaborate with customers to assess their current infrastructure and provide modernization and migration strategies (e.g., on-prem to cloud, hybrid models).
- Develop best practices, documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead complex migration, upgrade, and consolidation projects.
- Maintain partnerships and certifications with VMware and related ecosystem vendors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Certifications :
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) requiredVMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) preferredITIL, AWS / Azure certifications are a plusExperience :
