About the Role : We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Data Project Manager to lead and drive the successful end-to-end delivery of data-driven projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data lifecycle management, data platforms, and enterprise analytics solutions, along with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for scoping, planning, executing, and governing data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, solution architects, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and measurable business impact.

What you'll do :

Project Delivery & Governance

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data projects, ensuring completion within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Manage multiple data initiatives concurrently, focusing on Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Advanced Analytics.
  • Apply project management frameworks to plan, execute, monitor, and control project progress; proactively identify and resolve risks / issues.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation, reporting, and compliance with delivery standards.

Technical Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable data solutions.
  • Data Architecture : Define and optimize data architectures aligned to business and technical needs.
  • Data Warehousing : Lead development and maintenance of enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions.
  • Databricks & Azure : Drive deployment and integration of Databricks workflows and Azure data services.
  • Azure Cloud Stack : Utilize Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics to build reliable data pipelines and analytics platforms.
  • Power BI : Guide development of dashboards and reporting solutions for actionable insights.
  • Advanced Analytics : Support delivery of AI / ML use cases to generate measurable business value.

    • Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary client liaison throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and senior executives.
  • Provide clear, consistent communication through progress updates, status reports, and change management coordination.

    • Business Growth & Collaboration

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing engagements through value-add discussions, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to support proposals, pitches, and client presentations.
  • Represent Data & AI delivery capabilities in customer meetings and strategic discussions.

    • Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and support project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Encourage continuous improvement of delivery models, tools, and processes.

    • What you'll bring :

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks platform for building end-to-end data solutions.
  • Strong experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.
  • Build and optimize data lake zones (raw, curated, consumption) for efficient data management.
  • Proficient in developing business and dataflow logic using PySpark , T-SQL , and Stored Procedures .
  • Implement message queues using Azure Service Bus for reliable communication and event-driven architectures.
  • Integrate cloud-based solutions with on-premises systems to ensure seamless interoperability.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent, automated provisioning.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Azure architecture components including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Optimize cloud storage solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Establish monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and third-party tools.
  • Configure automated scaling solutions to efficiently handle workload fluctuations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation , including diagrams, processes, and technical specifications.
