About the Role :

We are immediately hiring a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer with 68 years of experience, including at least 3+ years in senior or lead analyst roles, to join our team in Tamil Nadu. This role is critical for building, deploying, and maintaining highly scalable, secure, and performant microservices primarily using Node.js within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern database solutions, API development, and integrating cutting-edge AI tools into backend workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

• Backend Development & Leadership : Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance backend microservices using Node.js, leveraging extensive experience in a senior or lead capacity.
• GCP Deployment & Architecture : Drive the deployment, scaling, and management of microservices across key GCP compute platforms, including GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), App Engine, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
• Database Design & Optimization : Demonstrate deep knowledge of modern GCP databasesAlloyDB, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud SQLfor advanced schema design, optimization, and complex query tuning.
• API Development : Lead API development efforts, implementing best practices for both RESTful APIs and GraphQL, ensuring secure, efficient, and well-documented interfaces.
• DevOps & CI / CD : Establish and maintain robust Git-based CI / CD workflows and implement comprehensive DevOps practices to ensure continuous integration, automated deployment, and infrastructure management.
• AI Integration & Augmentation : Gain experience leveraging Gemini Code Assist for enhanced code generation and integrating other AI tools directly into backend workflows to deliver intelligent application features.
• Security and Compliance : Apply a strong understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements to architect and deploy secure solutions within the GCP environment.
• Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with frontend teams (React.js or GraphQL consumers) and work seamlessly within a distributed / global team environment, requiring excellent communication skills.
