Instrumental Music Assistant

Position Summary : This position is responsible for assisting music teachers in classroom instruction and classroom management

Mandatory Requirements

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree (in education, music, or the arts)

Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience working in a school, preferably with middle and high school students

• Ability to proficiently play at least one western classical instrument specific to the position- a violin, viola, cello or double bass player for the strings class and a woodwind and brass instrument(trumpet, trombone, flute or clarinet) for the band class.
• Training / certification in Western classical music
• Own their own instruments to use during classes
• Teaching experience, including classroom management skills
• Proficiency in oral and written English
