Network Operations Engineer

Penta Consulting is a leading technology service provider and outsourced partner delivering professional and managed solutions across EMEA.

We're hiring for a full-time contract role through end of October , with strong potential for extension. This hybrid position is based out of a local office and combines 24 / 7 Level 2 / 3 network support with hands-on infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

Deliver 24 / 7 support for routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

Lead incident response, fault resolution, and change management

Execute hardware / software upgrades and lifecycle management

Engineer across OSI layers using protocols like BGP, OSPF, VXLAN

Automate with NETCONF / YANG, Python, Ansible, Terraform

Support zero trust, NAC, and secure access solutions

Requirements

Experience in large-scale network operations (banking / enterprise preferred)

Strong troubleshooting across Cisco and non-Cisco platforms

Skills in virtualization, cloud, automation, and open networking

Willingness to work flexible 24 / 7 shifts

Certifications (CCNP / CCIE) and scripting skills are a plus
