Sales Manager – Institutional Sales

Job Summary :
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead institutional sales efforts targeting government schools. The BDM will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing strategic relationships with government stakeholders, education officers, and decision-makers, and driving the adoption of educational products, services, or solutions tailored to this sector.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government school segment
Research and map key education departments, district education offices, and policy-making bodies.
Build and nurture relationships with government officials, school administrators, and education authorities.
Pitch and demonstrate products / services (e.g., EdTech solutions, school supplies, digital classrooms) aligned with the needs of government schools.
Monitor government tenders, RFPs, and procurement cycles.
Prepare compelling proposals and ensure timely submission and compliance with requirements.
Stay updated on relevant government schemes, education policies (like NEP), and funding mechanisms.
Ensure complain with all public sector procurement norms and documentation standards.
Qualifications : MBA (Marketing).
4–8 years of experience in institutional sales from FMCG Industry.
Prior experience in selling to government schools & Colleges is Must.
Familiarity with government procurement / tendering process.
