The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial andaccounting operations, including preparing and analysing financial reports, delegating tasks,and reconciling statements. This role offers a qualified accountant the opportunity to supportthe Group Finance team with transaction processing, Ledger maintenance, and financialplanning and analysis for business entities and holding companies.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger Management : -
- Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Financial Reporting : -
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Generate reports to management on financial status.Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.Audit & Compliance : -
Prepare for Internal and External Audits.Implement and Maintain Internal controls.Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and relevant regulations.Month - end and Year-end Close process : -
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timelycompletion.
Accounts Reconciliation : -
Reconcile accounts balances and bank statements.Resolve any discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments.Tax Fillings : -
Prepare and assist in filling company taxes and other regulatory financial filings.Coordinate with tax advisors for any additional needs.Team Supervision & Leadership : -
Provide guidance to junior accounting staff.Review and approve journal entries and other work prepared by staff accountants.Payroll : -
Provide support for payroll processing and related accounting activities.Requirements : -
5 years + accountancy experience including solid monthly close experience, financial system knowledge, Quickbooks experience is essential.Strong knowledge of accountingExcellent analytical skills with attention to details and problem-solving skills.Strong organisational and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesGreat oral and written communication proficiencies.Good working knowledge of Excel.Monthly account close experience.Qualifications & Skills : -
Bachelor degree in Accounting or FinanceKnowledge of EU-UK taxation is compulsoryKnowledge of international taxation and invoicingFluent in EnglishExcellent coordination and interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external teams.Strong attention to detail and accuracy of financial dataStrong knowledge of GAAPAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.Shift Timings (UK Shift) : - Mon- Fri - 12 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PM, Sat - 12 : 30 to 7 : 00 PM ( During Summers)
Mon- Fri - 1 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM , Sat - 1 : 30 PM to 8 : 00 PM ( During Winters)
Note : - Alternate Saturdays are off.
Salary : - ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
