Head of Product Management (AI)

At Pepper Content (www.peppercontent.io), we are building a powerful experience of automating enterprise marketing services like SEO, Social Media, and several other marketing channels with a Human + AI Agentic Workflow. We work with over 250+ large enterprise customers like Amazon, Unilever, Google, Atlassian, Instacart, and the likes.

This platform will be like a 'Zapier for Marketing Services' where we will automate workflow management and build custom enterprise models for our customers. Our core focus will be on SEO + Content to start with and then expand to social media where we will be automating and improving workflow efficiencies through a 'Service as a Software' AI agent.

To facilitate all our ambitions, we are looking for an experienced Director of Product who has an eye for product vision and an innovative mind to develop them. We are looking for someone who comes from an enterprise-focused background is keen to invest their time in working with an enterprise services business and has the patience to drive transformational change in how they operate through our platform. It's a long-term role and we need this person to be able to understand business operations deeply and patiently and then replicate workflows in a scalable manner.

This role will be based out of Pepper's Mumbai Office (Andheri East)

Job Responsibilities -

You will drive product development for this product area from concept to launch with successful iteration in a fast-paced customer customer-obsessed organization with an emphasis on written communication to convey product concepts and updates

You will create product specs to crisply identify problems, set goals, and define success metrics to help design and engineering teams develop products

You'll lead the definition & design of core technologies, developer interfaces, and end-user experiences for our copilot platform.

You will deconstruct complex problems by utilizing your technical depth and a data-influenced approach including a steady data diet of product usage to inform roadmap

Understand content creation nuances and build AI-based smart product flows to craft a revolutionary user experience for the use case

Design tweaks to increase activation and adoption funnel

Devise smart automation in the content lifecycle using GenAI technologies

Practice build vs buy and identify opportunities to collaborate with third parties for adding effective and scalable product features and functionalities

What You Bring To The Table

You are an experienced and accomplished Director of Product with 12+ years of experience and have successfully launched Enterprise products (SaaS / Services)

You have founded software companies in the past and played a hybrid role in technical and business aspects of the business.

You are an expert in deconstructing complex problems, annotating & understanding patterns, and taking a data-driven approach to finding solutions.

You are a strong writer who can consistently write clearly and concisely about new product concepts, operations, and plans.

Collaborate with Persuasiveness rather than authority

You are someone deeply curious and a fast learner – eager to understand the technology behind new products, conduct your own academic & competitive research.

You have strong familiarity with APIs, authentication, and integrations.

You are have experience building enterprise products that required 3rd party platform integrations

You have a proven track record of taking ownership of product goals and delivering against them

You have sound framework for when to iterate, when to discard, and when to scale products

You have the skills needed to take input from multiple sources, crystallize clear priorities, and communicate them effectively.

You feel most at home working hand-in-hand with data science, engineering, user experience, and customer success teams.

You are an effective communicator, you pay attention to the finer details, and you empathize with customers and stakeholders and build meaningful relationships

You are curious and bring genuine excitement to learn new subject areas and are comfortable being scrappy as and when needed
