Job descriptionMechanical Design of high power IGBT based power modules for traction / drives application. Prototyping, assembly and testing of power modules. 3D and 2D Modelling, simulation, thermal, structural, fluid flow analysis of electronic modules like IGBT based power stack used in traction / drives application. Analysing mechanical stress, thermal stresses and vibration effects on electronic systems, implementing suitable mitigation strategies to ensure proper functioning and longevity of power modules under varying operating conditions. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for IGBT module design, including electrical, thermal, and mechanical considerations Experience of handling High Power IGBT stacks. Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve design challenges, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of IGBT-based power modules.
