We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Head, the domestic and Middle East division of one of India's leading diamond-studded jewellery companies. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader with experience in manufacturing setups, especially gems and jewellery or related industries, and bring a proactive, empathetic, and results-oriented approach to talent development, compliance, employee engagement, and organizational growth.
Detailed Role Expectations and Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end HR function for approximately 400+ employees across production, marketing, product development, and corporate roles.
- Partner with leadership to drive culture, performance, and organizational values.
- Strengthen recruitment, onboarding, retention, and training processes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and all MIDC and other required norms.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and incentive structures aligned with business goals.
- Promote employee well-being, diversity, inclusion, and grievance redressal.
- Align HR strategy with business scalability, automation, and expansion plans.
- Have a L&D plan in place and ensure it is conducted with teams
Must-Have Experience :
Minimum 10 years in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Prior experience in manufacturing, jewellery, textiles, or luxury goods industries is highly preferred.Strong understanding of labor laws, shop and establishment / factory act, and factory-floor HR dynamics.Demonstrated ability to balance people-centric approaches with process discipline and compliance.Educational Background :
MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institution.Preferred Attributes :
High emotional intelligence and people-first leadership.Clear communicator, conflict resolver, and team builder.Familiarity with ERP / HRIS tools, PMS systems, and training modules.Bilingual (English plus Hindi or Marathi / Gujarati) is a plus.Show more
