Job descriptionDevelop test plans scenarios scripts and procedures based on business requirements and technical specifications Execute test cases and document results to ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe applications Identify and report defects and issues to development teams and work with them to resolve problems Collaborate with project managers business analysts developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality software Provide support to end-users during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers and team members Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodology
Requirements :
- years of experience in mainframe testing
- Strong knowledge of COBOL JCL DB2 and CICS
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform database testing
- Experience in test planning test case design and test execution
- Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium or UFT
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field preferred.
