TechOps Engineer

As part of the TechOps team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure and scalable infrastructure that supports our mission of delivering banking services to millions of users every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve system issues across platforms and applications (cloud + on-premises).
• Work with the TechOps team to architect, install, operate and maintain server, network and storage infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Deploy, configure and maintain Linux operating systems (preferably RHEL) and associated applications.
• Monitor system performance, automate routine operational tasks (scripting in Bash / Python) and perform performance tuning.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of applications with Linux / infra platforms.
• Use DevOps practices and tools : CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket), configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Understand and implement security controls : firewalls, VPNs, load-balancers, WAFs, security certificates, credential management.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) – EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, monitoring and handling service incidents & outages.
• Document operating procedures, manage change- and problem-management processes, maintain inventories, and drive process improvements.
• Stay current on Linux technologies, container platforms (Kubernetes / OpenShift), private cloud (VMware) and emerging best practices.
