Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Associate 3 to 7 Years of hands-on experience in Selenium Cucumber Java test automation

Good Knowledge on Web Environment, Web Elements and Operations on the Web Elements

Basic Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation

Good knowledge on Selenium suite of Tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid)

Strong Knowledge of Java Programming

Debugging Test Cases and Fixing Errors

Generating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Element locators and WebDriver API Commands.

Strong knowledge in BDD approach

Implementing JUnit / TestNG / MAVEN Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure

Strong Communication and Stakeholder management.

Good-to-Have

Hands on distributed version control repository

Hands-on Knowledge on SQL and Unix

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1Design high quality deliverables adhering to business requirement with defined automation framework and selenium script design and execution

2Develop and maintain highly scalable automation scripts as per client expectation and requirements

3Develop / Integrate the code adhering to CI / CD, using Maven and uDeploy

4Provide solutions to the automation design and techniques to solve problems as it arises

5Work with Cucumber framework and Maven

6Should be able to work with a team who might be geographically distributed. Understand the client requirements and delivery first time right.
