Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Sub Editor (Hindi) who can lead content creation, editing, and publishing for the Astrology beat while also having exposure to Lifestyle content . The ideal candidate should bring strong newsroom experience, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in CMS handling, SEO practices, and digital storytelling .

Key Responsibilities :

Edit, proofread, and publish high-quality astrology and lifestyle content in Hindi.
Work closely with reporters and writers to ensure accuracy, grammar, tone, and style.
Generate engaging headlines and optimize content for SEO and audience engagement.
Manage content workflow using CMS tools and ensure timely publishing.
Collaborate with newsroom teams to maintain content standards and brand voice.
Identify trending topics in astrology, lifestyle, and related domains to increase readership.
Ensure factual accuracy and credibility while maintaining audience relevance.
Support social media and digital promotion teams with optimized content.

Requirements :

4–7 years of editorial experience in digital media / newsroom.

Strong command over Hindi language and grammar .

Experience in Astrology or Lifestyle beat is highly desirable.

Hands-on experience with CMS publishing platforms .

Sound knowledge of SEO practices, digital analytics, and audience behavior .

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Strong editorial judgment and eye for detail.

Good to Have :

Prior experience with astrology or lifestyle-focused portals.

Familiarity with social media trends and digital-first storytelling formats (short-form content, reels, interactive stories).

Creative flair for headlines, push notifications, and audience engagement.
