Job Summary :

The Global PPDS and PP Business Process Consultant will be a member of the global Supply Chain IT team, applying their expertise in SAP technology, specifically in the area of SCM Production Planning and Scheduling and Material Requirement Planning to provide competitive solutions to enterprise-wide challenges. This project focused role will function in a technical Business Systems Analyst capacity working closely with respective architects and business partners and applying technical expertise in a business / technical system area.

Position Description :

The Global PPDS and PP Business Process Consultant will be a vital member of the global Supply Chain IT team. You will apply your expertise in SAP technology, specifically in the area of SCM Production Planning and Scheduling and Material Requirement Planning, to deliver competitive solutions to enterprise-wide challenges. In this project-focused role, you will function as a Business Systems Analyst, working closely with respective architects and business partners, applying your technical expertise to business / technical systems.

Job Responsibilities :

You will provide Level II and Level III incident resolution in the functional area of support, documenting issue resolutions for knowledge transfer where appropriate.
You will partner with functional team subject matter experts and business partners to understand documented requirements. You will translate these detailed requirements into development and / or configuration solutions that meet business needs in your functional area of focus.
You will conduct unit and integration testing of new or changed business / technical processes. You will also develop business / technical cycle tests for use by the stakeholder community. You will document all process changes and ensure knowledge is shared with relevant stakeholders.
You will evaluate alternative design approaches to determine the best-balanced solution. The best-balanced solution will satisfy immediate stakeholder needs, meet system requirements, and facilitate future changes.
You will assume a leadership role in small-sized initiatives by being the key contributor, facilitator, or group lead.

Job Qualifications :

You have a Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

You have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in IT.

You have 4 years of SAP experience in SCM Production Planning & Scheduling and Material Requirement Planning, which is a must.

You may have exposure to ABAP debugging and development, which is a plus.

You may have exposure to other SCM planning processes such as Supply Network Planning and Demand Planning, which will be highly appreciated.

You have the ability to understand business processes and needs, delivering prompt, efficient, and high-quality service to the business.

You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication, and a solid command of verbal and written English.

You have solid solution design capabilities across functions and applications and can explore and implement new processes.

You are a strong team player who thrives in collaborative settings.

You are flexible and able to work flexible hours as required on special occasions.
