Job Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional with specialized knowledge in insurance and broker accounting. The role involves managing complex accounting processes, Intercompany reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and audit support, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across multi-currency environments.

(CANDIDATE MUST BE FROM INSURANCE INDUSTRY / PROJECT)

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep expertise in the insurance industry, including the full lifecycle of insurers, brokers, and MGAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal) to resolve mismatches, disputes, and ensure timely clearance of intercompany balances.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements related to intercompany transactions, including transfer pricing documentation.
• Develop, document and implement standardized intercompany processes, driving process consistency, and transparency.
• Oversee the complete intercompany accounting cycle including transaction recording, reconciliation, and settlement across multiple entities and geographies.
• Lead month-end close activities and perform sub-ledger vs ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze accounting records, investigate outstanding items, and produce financial reports under US GAAP / STAT.
• Investigate and resolve balance mismatches, deviation and transaction issues.
• Handle foreign exchange revaluations and manage GBP and multi-currency exposures for broker settlements.
• Continuously benchmark against industry standards and bring fresh ideas to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Liaise with stakeholders, support audits, and maintain accurate process documentation.
• Ensure all KPIs and SLAs are met, while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving, communication, and advanced Excel skills, and work independently while supporting leadership.

Must have : 7+ years

of strong insurance and broker intercompany accounting knowledge.

6+ years

of experience with journal entries, Intercompany reconciliations, and month-end closing, Transfer pricing.
