Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities :

• We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in end-to-end data engineering and Snowflake development.
• Expert in Snowflake native features : Snow pipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, and Secure Data Sharing.
• Skilled in designing scalable ELT pipelines, advanced SQL / Python development, and dimensional data modeling (star / snowflake).
• Experienced in analyzing file formats (Parquet, ORC, Avro, JSON, CSV) and recommending performance / storage best practices.
• Strong in cost / performance optimization, handling semi-structured data, and compute / storage tuning in Snowflake.
• Azure cloud experience is preferred, along with integration using DBT, Airflow, and other modern data tools.
• Hands-on experience with Streamlit, familiarity with Snowflake Container Services is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Snowflake security best practices including RBAC, data masking, access control, and data encryption.
• Experience with monitoring Snowflake performance using Resource Monitors, Query Profiling, and usage analytics.
• Snowflake and Azure certifications are preferred (not mandatory); must excel in architecture, debugging, and data strategy
